Danae is a fifth year senior at the University of Missouri at Columbia studying information technology with a minor in computer science and graphic design. Danae has served as Mizzou NSBE's 2017-18 Membership chair, 2018-19 Public Relations chair, and 2019-20 President. She has also served as Region V NSBE's 2018-19 Missouri Zone chair and 2019-20 Public Relations chair. Erron is a junior chemical engineering student transferring from the University of Houston to Prarie View A&M University this Fall. This is his second Regional term and 4th NSBE position in total. Erron is a HUGE extrovert so if he's not spending his spare time doing something basketball-related then he's most likely hanging with friends. Your Regional Vice-Chair would like you to know that he always up for a conversation with membership whether NSBE related or not.
She is attending the marvelous Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. and is a rising senior pursuing an Industrial Engineering Degree with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Shania is currently Region V Secretary and Anti-Grammateus (Secretary) of her organization; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She plans on being the best she can be at all times.
Daniel Carroll goes to Missouri University of Science and Technology. Daniel's an incoming 4th-year student and his Major is in Engineering Management with a minor in business and entrepreneurship. Daniel's currently Co-oping at Collins Aerospace as a systems engineer. He is an entrepreneur at heart and is currently building his own business to help people invest in others.
Mark is graduating as a senior Mechanical Engineer in May 2021, at Louisiana Tech University. At his chapter, he held the roles of Academic Excellence Chair (2018-19) and President (2019-20). He also interned with Northrop Grumman in Maryland (Summer 2019) and with P&G in Missouri (Summer 2020). Mark works on campus at the Computing Center assisting faculty, staff, and students with hardware and software issues. He holds current roles such as a Student Recruiter and a College of Engineering and Science Ambassador, in which he leads tours for high school students looking to enroll at Louisiana Tech University. Mark enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family & friends!
Datara Lee is a junior, Chemical Engineering Major from Kansas City, Kansas and is a student at the University of Missouri- Columbia. She is also the current Treasurer for the Mizzou NSBE chapter, an engineering ambassador for the college of Engineering and a Career Specialist. She loves watching college basketball and learning about conspiracy theories. She would like membership to know that she is here as a resource for the entire region and is always there to help when needed.
Monica Monconduit is a senior, mechanical engineering student at the University of Texas at Tyler. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and participates in 5K’s and obstacle course runs, cooking and family time.
Iman Ahmed is a rising senior at Texas A&M University studying Industrial & Systems Engineering with a minor in Philosophy. As a freshman, Iman founded a NSBE chapter at her community college where she served as President. She has also held various leadership positions throughout NSBE at both the national and chapter level. Outside of NSBE, Iman enjoys cooking Ethiopian food, trying out new things, and loves spending time with her friends and family.

Crege is an international student from the island of Dominica, a small lively island in the Caribbean. Crege is an emerging senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Midwestern State University in Texas. In addition to being International Chair of Region 5, Crege served as membership chair and currently serves as the VP of his school chapter. Crege also serves as the VP of his school's SGA, advocating for more outreach to international students and for more exposure of opportunities to underrepresented students. Crege hopes to build stronger relationships with membership and to promote leadership opportunities for students both here and abroad.
Ryan Livingston is a junior Chemical Engineering and Physics Double Major attending The Prairie View A&M University. He previously served as the 19-20 Historian on PVNSBE’s Chapter. When not handling responsibilities, Ryan loves to reach out for the soul of man to show the same love the Lord had for him. He’s extremely grateful for what God has brought him through. For leisure he enjoys reading his bible, street preaching to fish for souls, encouraging others, and skateboarding!
Armaja LaRue-Hill is a senior at the University of Missouri majoring in Computer Science & Documentary Journalism. Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Armaja began her college tenure at Missouri University of Science and Technology with NSBE through PCI efforts. By aiding university recruitment through coding programs, Armaja was able to secure 6 internships between Twitter, Intel, Visa and more. Much of her programming and involvement with NSBE is catered to professional development through resume reviews and youth STEM outreach through volunteering and coding camps. Lastly, Armaja is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
He is a junior Electrical Engineering major at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Timi Olaosebikan has been involved with NSBE since the first semester of his freshman year and has worked on the collegiate level with various positions, as a SEEK mentor, and is currently on the Regional Executive Board. He loves playing soccer too!
Geena is a junior studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma. Geena was previously her chapter telecommunications chair and is now serving as her chapters membership chair. As Oklahoma Zone chair she hopes to focus on three main things: Improving chapter stability and involvement, improving inter-chapter relationships within the 10 chapters in the Oklahoma Zone and developing a membership retention plan. She can't wait to aid chapters in their pursuit of upholding our Vanguard Region status and our chapter's mission statement!

Laura Thompson is a first year student studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. She served on the Regional Junior Executive Board for two years prior to being elected onto the Regional Executive Board. Interestingly enough, Laura was elected to the REB before graduating high school.
She is a senior at University of Houston majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry. Being avidly involved in NSBE since entering college, Laosha has served in both a telecommunications position and secretarial position in her chapter. She also involves herself in the cultural community of Houston stemming from a love for languages and travel. Her most recent excursion was with the university's first Engineering Study Abroad Experience to Brazil. In her leisure time, she enjoys tea activities, reading, learning languages, and dabbling in art.
Franklin Anomneze is a graduating senior mechanical engineering student, where he currently attends the University of Texas at San Antonio. Leadership positions that he has held include being his chapter’s former treasurer as well as a in home tutor for children through Tutor Doctor. A fun fact about him is that he plans to go to flight school at some time after graduating.
Regan Williams is a junior at Louisiana State University, majoring in Computer Engineering and is from the one and only Houston, Texas. Alongside being apart of NSBE, she participates in the Black Leadership Council, Student Activity Board and Volunteer Efforts at LSU. Ms. Williams wants everyone to know she is eager to serve and ready to put together a great FRC.
Amanda Turner is a junior Computer Science Major at Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge. She has been a part of NSBE since 2016, beginning as a NSBE Jr. member. From then on, Amanda continued her NSBE journey into her collegiate years, serving as Southern University's Pre-College Initiative Chair (2019-2020).
Camille Little is a first PhD student at Rice University studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. During her undergraduate years, she served as a Senator, T.O.R.C.H. Chairperson , and President of Rice University's chapter. She is passionate about servant leadership and excited to create and improve T.O.R.C.H. programs and events throughout the region.
Hunter Syas is a sophomore at Texas A&M University majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Electrical Engineering. He is very passionate for competitive swimming, engineering/graphic design, finance, and overall exploring his curiosity for learning. Hunter has involved himself with multiple leadership/mentor positions, medical device research, and looks forward to accomplishing immense goals throughout his academic journey! Hunter is a first-generation student, family of two younger brothers, and Hunter is extremely thrilled to have this incredible opportunity to work with NSBE Region V to expand our organization’s excellence!
R’riel Smith is a senior, Industrial & Systems Engineering major from Houston, TX and says “Howdy!” from the one and only, Texas A&M University. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Matthew Gaines Initiative. Miss. Smith enjoys watching YouTube videos and studying natural oils for her hair and skin. She is also the owner of RealRejuvenations. She is extremely excited for the upcoming term!
Ashley Idehen is a senior Environmental Engineering Major at Texas Tech University from Chicago. She enjoys listening to jazz music and watching Mukbangs. Ms. Idehen previously served as the Texas Zone Chair and is excited to return back as the RLC chair
Christin Renee’ Taylor is employed by Ingenious Med, a software solution company in Atlanta, Georgia, as an Application Analyst. Christin completed her studies at Tulane University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Business. During her time at Tulane University, Christin was involved in several student-organizations, African American Congress and National Society of Black Engineers. As a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, Christin earned the Vanguard Member of the Year award in 2005 all while serving on the Chapter Executive Board, Regional Executive and several conference planning positions on the National level. Christin currently serves on the Regional Advisory Board within the Program Zone with a focus on Pre-College Initiative. Outside of NSBE, Christin currently serves as Interim Executive Director of K.D. Moore Community Development, Inc., where the mission is to positively impact change by providing opportunities that address the physical, educational, economical, and financial wellness of children, youth, seniors, and families in Clarkston, Georgia and Metro Atlanta communities; she is also the proud sole proprietor of (+) Impa’CT’ a non-profit organization to increase the awareness of STEM within young females. Christin is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana that resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia and an avid fan of Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers Football Team.

Nichole McCown is the Region V Communications Zone Advisor. She works for Collins Aerospace in Dallas, TX as a Senior Systems Engineering Manager. She holds a BS EE from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
Nichole has served in various roles in NSBE such as collegiate chapter senator and finance chair, regional leadership conference chair and secretary, professional chapter secretary, vice chair, and professional development chair.
Nichole enjoys traveling, planning events, and playing volleyball. She is married and has 2 corgi dogs that are 12 years old.
